SRPV to work with CCG on Patient Engagement

The South Reading CCG proposes to plan Patient Engagement in a more formal way. To this end it has included a plan-on-a-page for Patient Engagement in its current operational plan. It has supported a proposal for a new initiative to be run jointly with SRPV to organise up to 4 large-scale meetings or activities per year to reach a larger number than most current SRPV meetings, at which CCG messages could be communicated and discussed.

RBH not a priority for inspection - as inspection starts

Last year the Care Quality Commission's risk rating for the Royal Berkshire Hospital put the hospital in the highest band of risk. As a result an early inspection was scheduled which is due to start on the 24th March. In the meantime, the Care Quality Commission has published its most recent risk rating of the hospital - which has put it in the next to lowest risk band - 5 out of 6.

The Care Quality Commission's risk rating system is called "Intelligent Monitoring". It's a good thing they told us that otherwise we might have thought differently.
